Dr. Erin Carner, N.M.D.

Dr. Carner got her start in Medical Anthropology and has always been fascinated with archaeology, ancient culture and health traditions. Following her Naturopathic training at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR, she came to SLC, UT. So far, the community of patients here have nothing but impressed her with their enthusiasm and dedication to their health.

Dr. Carner's areas of focus include Dermatology, Women's Health, Digestive Health, and Pediatric Wellness. Dr. Carner is a Naturopathic Physician and Classical Homeopath. You will find her on her days off working with animals, sipping coffee on a patio, or at a Zumba class.

Dr. Erin Carner is a family Naturopathic Physician, trained in Natural and Preventative Medicine, as well as General Practice. Dr. Carner recognizes that it is necessary to look beyond symptom management in order to determine underlying causes of disease. She is trained to examine the patient as a whole person, including mental, emotional and physical factors that contribute to one's well-being. At your office visit, Dr. Carner will listen to your story and develop a collaborative plan to feeling great again.

Using an evidence based approach, Dr. Carner designs personalized treatment plans, incorporating many natural modalities such as Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Nutrient Therapy, Lifestyle Counseling, Diagnostic Testing and Pharmaceutical Therapeutics, as needed. She brings to Salt Lake City her passion for Classical Homeopathy as a gentle, very affordable modality for healing her patients.

Dr. Carner received her N.D. degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. She completed six-month rotations in Botanical Formulation, IV Therapy and Primary Care. She has advanced training in Classical Homeopathy from the New England School of Homeopathy and with renowned homeopath Lysanji Edson, N.D. Dr. Carner earned her B.A. in Public Health and Medical Anthropology at Agnes Scott College and interned at the Centers for Disease Control.
